Sarah Seagraves
Sarah Seagraves is a music educator and clarinetist originally from San Antonio, Texas, and teaches in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She holds two Bachelor’s degrees in clarinet performance and music education from the University of North Texas, where she studied with Dr. Kimberly Luevano and Greg Raden.
During her time at North Texas, she was a recipient of the Clara Freshour Nelson Scholarship and member of numerous ensembles- she has recorded and performed with both the Symphonic Band and renowned North Texas Wind Symphony and performed as principal clarinetist in the Concert Orchestra. She and her woodwind trio, Trioplet, received first prize in the 1st George Papich Chamber Music Studies competition at North Texas. Her summers were spent performing with the Red River Lyric Opera Orchestra, Music in the Mountains Festival Orchestra, and in the Rocky Ridge Young Artist Seminar.
