Quentin Knox, a native of Central Texas, is excited to begin his first year at Trinity Springs Middle School. Mr. Knox recently graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from the University of Texas at Arlington in May of 2019, where he studied Clarinet with Dr. Cheyenne Cruz and Conducting with Dr. Douglas Stotter. While at UT Arlington, he has performed in numerous ensembles including the prestigious UTA Wind Ensemble as principal Bass Clarinetist, Symphony Orchestra as Principal Clarinetist, was the clarinet section leader for the Maverick Marching Band and is a founding member of the Quattratonic Quartet who has performed nationally and internationally. Mr. Knox completed his student teaching at Kennemer Middle School and Duncanville High School in Duncanville ISD.
Mr. Knox is professionally affiliated with Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmaster’s Association, Young Band Directors of Texas, International Clarinet Association, and Tau Beta Sigma. In his free time, Mr. Knox enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with his friends and family.
