Laura chicorello

Laura Chicarello is a private horn teacher and performer in the Dallas and Fort Worth metroplex. She has appeared as a lecturer and Regional Artist at several horn workshops, including the 2018 Mid-South Horn Workshop, where she gave a lecture titled, “Chops of Steel: Developing an Efficient Embouchure in Beginner Players.” Laura has played with the Lone Star Wind Orchestra, Irving Symphony Orchestra, and San Angelo Symphony Orchestra, as well as several orchestras in Louisiana, including the Shreveport, Baton Rouge, and Rapides Symphony Orchestras. She also performed in the Pierre Monteux School and Music Festival orchestra for two summers.

An avid chamber musician, Laura performs with the Timberland Brass Quintet, and Cor Dallas, a horn quartet. She also posts regularly to her YouTube channel, LChicMusic. Laura holds a Master of Music degree from Northwestern State University of Louisiana and a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of New Hampshire. While not performing or teaching, Laura enjoys distance running and eating Tex Mex, but not at the same time.
